The Air Force had tons of good movies, but most seem to be pre-1947 (Army Air Corps) but its been a lean few decades for the AF. The whole "Iron Eagle" franchise kind of killed the genre.

My favorite part of Broken Arrow was were they beat the crap out of each other while boxing a few hours prior to a mission. I guess a technical advisor was deemed unnecessary.

Actually I heard the Navy did not endorse an officer and a gentleman but did endorse TopGun. But in contrast to KC-10 Fatboy the Airforce movies especially Iron Eagle was totally moronic unlike TopGun which actually has some realism to it as well as officer and a gentleman even though the Navy didn't endorse it.
