If jet fuel dropped to $20 bbl, I bet Anderson would be rebuilding the DC-9 fleet out of the desert. They're spending a boatload of money refurbishing 20+ year old whales and 7ER's with AVOD and flat-beds. Everything is a cost-benefit analysis. With RA's history, whatever produces the biggest return with the best (least) risk will get the nod for our fleet.
Are you joining the rumor mongerers Slow?
I will say, there aren't a whole lot of MD-90s to be had outside of the Saudi's, which may be the reason they're not acquiring much more. Besides, the 739s might have been a homophone deal.
homophone? thanks Iphone autocorrect. phenomenal was the word I was spelling but it finished the word for me and chose, homophone?
