Sanity will never return to travel until Congress is forced to deal, personally, with the ignominy of a TSA search. Thus:
In order to improve congressional security I propose that TSA checkpoints be established at the entrances to the Capitol, and to all congressional office buildings. All entrants shall be scanned using the latest backscatter technology--don't worry congresswoman, the radiation can't harm you and the images could never appear on the internet. In addition, physical patdowns of randomly selected legislators and their staffs will be performed; again, in the interest of safety and security.
