Airlines will lobby, like they have thus far with rest rules and they will get their way. Make no mistake about that. Be certain that airlines will exhaust every imaginable avenue before raising pay to attract pilots, to include raising retirement age again.
I think we will see regionals fly fewer planes (thus require less pilots) but scope will get busted so the size of "regional" aircraft will go up......let's see how the little RJs at Eagle will maigcally become big RJs. Just my prediction....I also foresee the "1500" hour rule get way watered down.
