I just wanted to let friends and co-workers know of fellow pilot Kevin Roche's recent passing. He had been fighting cancer for several years but lost the fight last night. He was a union rep at Mesaba, and a check airman when I knew him. We only flew together once when he signed me off for Aspen training in the Avro. He was larger than life, passionate, and funny. He is survived by his wife, Wendy, and 2 beautiful children. He left Mesaba for Delta some years back, and I believe he was diagnosed within his probationary year.
