I know. But it was 0530 and I was half asleep. Not much sleep the last two weeks taking care of momma(unplanned c-section), our 2 yr old daughter, & 2 week old son. With all the sleep I'm lacking, I didn't think I should be playing with a gas appliance!
With your 2 week old son, fixing your furnace yourself in wintertime should be the last of your concerns!
I had a similar thing happen - my furnace broke, I did a bit of trouble-shooting and saw a burned out resistor on the PC board of the control unit. yeah, I could of figured out where to get a replacement board, ordered it and repaired it, but that's at least a day or two, with momma at home with no heat.
Yeah. She'd like that. Called the repair man and it was fixed a lot faster.
