On the ERJ side of the house, we are seeing block hours increase again and more pilots being hired and upgraded. Our MEC took heat for not putting anything out while your MEC put this message out before anything was known for sure...Caused a lot of problems on this side of the company...
I'll agree that the message was poorly worded. However, only 18 of the 26 were coming back. I think the intention of the letter was to convey that provisions were in place to accommodate any additional furloughs.
