I.e. in departments where there is more than 1 type of aircraft with pilots who fly the different types....is there any difference in accident rate--less/more/no difference.
Not sure of any data on this topic but having been dual qualified in the past I can't really see it causing accidents. I think currency and hours flown are what matters. A guy flying a lot in two different airplanes is much safer than a guy who doesn't fly much but always flies the same plane. Just my opinion.
