Penair is now looking to hire. The min's are 700 for the Sabb but rumor has it they are talking about raising them. Penair is looking to pick up EAS flying on the east coast and opening a Boston crew base in Febuary 2012 and Hawaii by summer. If this happens I doubt they will be able to raise the min's they are having a hard enough time filling the positions for the Alaska flying.
All new hire Sabb FO's will be required to sign a 2 year traning contract and is mandatory to relocate to Anchorage (until the EAS comes online).
Those without enough time to go to the Sabb may be given the chance to sit right seat in the 208. It's not a completely bad gig as long as you can keep from getting based in King Salmon. This base has the most senior 208 CA's. The FO's there are not pilots they are ramper's that get to ride along and get treated worse than the ramper's.
