We have had carry over here since before we even thought a Union was even possible.
Besides the last 3 pre contract surveys asking about eliminating or restricting carry over or instituting a Pay Cap were all met with a BIG NO from the membership. Again what does ALPA have to do with this?

My complaint with C/O isnt that it exsists, it is that it is rewarded. If you want to ask a survey question try these:
Should someone with CIC have scheduling priority to allow him to exceed BLG, frequently by 40% but up to 100%, before VTOs are filled and open time is released?
Should someone who has exceeded RLG through CIC get leveling credit for a non reserve trip?
Instead we ask questions like; Should we cap the ability of a pilot to maximize his pay for the month by limiting carryover and/or his ability to use his makeup bank?

That "Block over 10 pay" can generate him another 10-20 credit hours a month even though both our lines might equally be scheduled at 72 or 88 for the 5 week month. Just saying.

Ah so you found the hidden money.
I am shocked that FDX MEC rewards a particular subset of the population with scheduling work rules that allow extra pay.
Again we are in violent agreement, UPS and FDX contracts are fairly equal, however we choose to have workrules that distributes the money differently.
