We are short staffed, because the have people sitting waiting 3 to 5 hrs for their next flight. Schedules sucks big time... I rather be flying than waiting. Also that will get the pilot earlier to his/her home.
You hit the nail on the head and broke the head off. Talk about productivity problems.... I don't like flying a 14hr day where 6-8 of it is spent sitting in ORD... Sounds like poor planning and use of manpower.... Not saying I want the job, but there has to be a more efficient way to plan for us.
