I think your bitter that you didn't get hired straight at a 121 carrier right after getting your commercial license.....Can you honestly tell me that if you had the chance to go to an airline right out of college that just so happened to have a base near your home, you wouldn't take it? "No I'm going to do what I'm suppose to do" and babysit til I get 500 hours pic...now I'm ready for the airlines! I have witnessed more CFI's and check carriers wash out of training than I have wet commercial pilots. You either have the skill or you don't, you're either trainable or not....take your bs comments and allegations to some other board
First of all regarding the highlighted comment, no you haven't.
Secondly,
Anyone would do it the way you did if given the oppuortunity. It's not you or them that is the problem. It's the system that allows it to happen. How can we value ourselves as a profession and demand that we deserve higher pay, when it's possible to fly for an airline at 250TT. We can't. It's a pathetically low bar to set when a regular civilian can go from 0TT to 250TT and right seat at a regional all in one year. Have you ever heard of that with a doctor or a lawyer? No. Those are two professions we used to be compared to because of the entry level difficulty. Now we are compared to truck and bus drivers and paid the same as well.
