Some of us knew better than to try to get a job at an airline at something like 400 hrs TT. I didn't even put my first resume to the airlines til I had 1,500and 100 multi. At 400 TT I didn't know much and I knew I needed more experience.
You are forgetting the fact that nothing is preventing us from upgrading without the PIC time.
