Recurrent/CD sim training is paid at 3.15 per day. Yes a min day is 5.15 and ins get paid 5, but you only get paid 3:15 per day Enjoy.
The benefit now is that those training days do not take away from your avail days on reserve and as a result do not reduce the amount of off days by one in a recurrent month.
Well, the guy I'm flying with right now put down "10 percent at signing and 3% YOY" on the contract survey but feels like he was "shooting for the moon." (direct quote). If that's the mentality we're dealing with, we'll never even get close to fixing the training paycut issue.
