But, I think this speaks to Bars point, acl. If you guys are going to direct the flow of conversation for this thread, then you are taking away what has made it such a great place for so long.

As pilots, we just don't like being surprised. That's all. We actually like rules. If there is an insubordination rule or Anit-Sedition clause, let us know.
I admit, you have every right to do it -- The First Amendment doesn't live here in APC world. It's you world and you can make it as you see fit. But, with it being your right and all, the only question is the direction you guys/gals want to take this place.
I think what IT is is that sometimes there is absolutely nothing going on at Delta, but sometimes Delta people come on this thread to talk about what's going on with them.
How much you let us discuss, is up to you.
FWIW, newK... those are nearly exactly the points that I brought in the mod section as well as via PM to CleeIB. (Clee is the business oversight of this forum.. not a pilot, doesn't care about pilot stuff, and really just cares about keeping the pitchforks and torches down at whatever cost.)
The general idea is- if a mod does something, respect it and don't get all butthurt and post on the thread about it. That fixes nothing and the non-DL mods are suspicious of this thread anyways. If you believe it was out of line, PM the mod. If that doesn't fix it, shoot me, ACL, or johnso (him last- he's dealing with a new wee one) a PM and we can start a pow wow on it. Finally and as a last resort, HSLD is truly the spirit of this forum and a top notch guy. He's very good about responding and really cares about this place.
That all being said: Bar's logic is sound I believe... however, if you're really that upset about something someone said on here, remember... IT'S AN INTERNET WEB BOARD. It's not life or death. However however, I'll be danged if I let something like this keep ftb from posting pure brilliance in photoshop.
