DALLAS, Jan. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV) announced today plans to operate one new daily nonstop flight between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport beginning June 10, 2012. This will be in addition to the three daily flights operated by AirTran, Southwest's wholly-owned subsidiary. The carrier is pleased to add the long-haul route to its map—connecting two destinations popular for both leisure and business. Flights can be booked via the website or something.

So, 737s vs... a daily barrage of 757, 763, 777, A330, 763, 763, 757, 763 and finally a 757.

Well at least they try. better than our LAX-SEA efforts. We fly nothing while Alaska flies Delta 7679, 7671, 7668, 7708, 9045, 9030, 7676 which are on a 739, 734, 738, 734, 734, 738 and a 737.

Of course SWA can fly any route they want, more power to them, if they keep the prices the same as ours, more power to us both.
