I doubt most passengers are that stupid. I do know that to a single passenger, all passengers prefer jets over turboprops. Jet pilots are no better than turboprops pilots, but between the two types of A/C, there is a difference in performance, range, and passenger comfort. By the logic of cheaper (economics), the DC-3 is an awesome aircraft and plenty of them still around. Maybe the regionals should consider flying those instead of turboprops??? NOT.
