The Whispering Woods conference center used to be a Holiday Inn training hotel, so the layout is a bit strange, but it was clean and quiet. They serve breakfast, have a laundry room and a gym with updated cardio machines and new dumbbells. There is a wide variety of restaurants within a 3 minute walk of the hotel and the neighborhood is safe. I stayed there for 24 hrs, used their shuttle service to get to and from the AOTC and AOC and had a great night's sleep. Given the choice between the much newer Fairfield or the Whispering Woods, I will probably choose the Whispering Woods just for the peace and quiet. At $49 for 24hrs, it is a great deal.
