I must say that it was a great experience. The interview was very straight forward, relaxed and everyone was very nice. They were gracious enough to fly me to FLL (positive space), pay for my hotel and buy me lunch on the day of the interview. Everyone I met from the gate agents to the pilots to the flight attendants were very nice and helpful. That alone in my opinion says a lot about an organization.

I think Spirit is a great airline and one with a promising future.

Thanks for letting me "bleed" a little on the forum. Now off to therapy to deal with my first "no thank you" in aviation in 25 years!! LOL

P.S - And for those who made it...nice work!!
I now at least I have confirmed closure...

"Dear ..............,

Thank you for your interest in a career with Spirit Airlines. It was a pleasure meeting with you and getting to know more about your background and interests. You were one of several candidates we have considered for the Pilot position. Unfortunately, you have not been selected to continue in the process. This should not be viewed as a reflection of your ability but rather as a result of a highly competitive employment market.

As a reminder, you are eligible to reapply for this position six (6) months from the date of your interview. We thank you for your interest and wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors."

Sincerely,
Talent Acquisition
