Well my interview was Wednesday the 4th and have not heard anything back, so I'm fairly sure a call isn't in my future. BUT I AM NOT GIVING UP HOPE OR GOING TO QUIT TRYING. Being out of commercial aviation for 9 years I'm confident didn't help (which in saying that some of you will know who I am which is OK w me).

I must say that it was a great experience. The interview was very straight forward, relaxed and everyone was very nice. They were gracious enough to fly me to FLL (positive space), pay for my hotel and buy me lunch on the day of the interview. Everyone I met from the gate agents to the pilots to the flight attendants were very nice and helpful. That alone in my opinion says a lot about an organization.

I think Spirit is a great airline and one with a promising future.

Thanks for letting me "bleed" a little on the forum. Now off to therapy to deal with my first "no thank you" in aviation in 25 years!! LOL

P.S - And for those who made it...nice work!!
