Live out west now and would never go back. I noticed no one mentioned living in Montana or Utah. I completely understand why... No mountains or scenery at all, lots of a**holes, ridiculous taxes, the weather sucks, cost of living is obscene. You get the point. Don't even think of moving here.
I live minutes away from one of the more liberal cities in the country, yet I pay no state income tax, and most times, no state sales tax - and my property taxes are reasonable. Oh, and the city has more breewerys than any other in the country. But, of course, theres no mountains or scerery here either, and it rains 24/7/365 - so its a crappy place to live. To bad its no longer a DL pilot base.
