If you do apply, know that this airline has furlough'd two of the three years I've been here. not trying to scare folks away, but you need to know how this company operates. They will furlough the minute flying reduces in the winter and hire in the spring. Be prepared. Currently the pilot group is treated little better than seasonal migrant workers. That's on the three (chautaqua, shuttle, and republic) certificates. I just think you should know what your getting yourselves into so if you come here, please beware and prepare. I'm sure there are others at RAH who will agree. Best of luck to us all!
+1. The only thing I'd like to add is that we've had an amendable contract since October of 2007, and management hasn't given an inch in negotiations. There are plenty of worse places to work, but there aren't a lot of happy campers here at RAH.
