I was recently in the back briefing room/lounge at Ellington field and there was a group of T-1 students and instructors around planning / getting ready to brief the next training flight. I was amazed to see a number of students (and I'm assuming some IPs based on rank) standing around the center table all with their iPads out and talking about different charts and approach plates. times are changing for sure!
