The worst you can do is apply and interview, remember this though you cold get bumped back to the right seat from all the people going into class now with higher seniority than you would have. All it takes is for us to slow down the hiring for whatever reason and then it could be stagnant. I hope that doesn't happen, but it's always a possibility.
