There is nothing wrong with snow, as long as there is a 11,000 ft mountain nearby and it snows atleast 36" and it stays around for a few months.
To quote my 3 yr old this afternoon as she skied down from 10,500ft on a bright sunny day with 2ft+ of new snow over the past couple days, "There's no corderoy today, Daddy, just powder!"
