Eagle's Saab sim is level C. It has to do with hours and simulation level.
Level D sims have no hour requirement to complete 100% in the sim, like the 1900 sim at flight safety Mco. FAA551 is a level D.
Level C sim requires 85/15 unless the applicant meets certain requirements. 61.159 mins for SIC training...theres other requirements based on the category of training.

Thanks for cherry picking at not reading what it was about. I was responding to an Eagle guy who said they had to take an airplane check because of the sim. It is not that simple.
It is still a function of quals. Look at Silver. They are using a level D dim but still doing a two part check ride.
