Fair enough. However, it shouldn't be our problem to man the airline by flying overtime etc etc. My category/seat has been undermanned for over a year. No reserve exccess. None. Since the company refuses to man the category properly, everybody suffers.. except the company. They can hit a reserve from another base and fly them up to cover a trip. Because of this retarded reserve system, regular line holders... ALL of them cannot drop a trip in base. Good for the company.. bad for us. If they insist on the coverage aspect in order to allow regular line holders the ability to massage their schedules.. then they need to man the category based on that. Simple. If I were king.. they would have until the beginning of summer schedule. (I have no idea what I would do about it.. but something needs to be done..)
