I will say I find it odd that they still have as many crews in MSP as they do and after March I can't find a single DC9 departure in the system. Even the March open times apprears to be all dh on front end and back end of rotations. Thats what they did in MEM to spool it down, so I think the writing is on the wall for the 9 even in MSP and DTW. Also there has been no talk of moving the sims and they are about to give up that building right?

That's certainly possible. But on the other hand... IF they were going to keep the DC-9's around for just a little longer (say sometime into 2013), it would probably make sense to keep deadheading rather than move a base.
I don't use crystal balls. The darn things just don't work.
