A good buddy of mine (retired DL guy) keeps his power boat at a marina in Newburyport, so in the summer I'll drop by to help him empty his refridgerator.

My Dad had season tickets to the Boston Patriots back in the 1970's, when they played at Harvard Stadium and they lost to...everyone! So I'm always amazed if they even make the playoffs!

No, I dont live there anymore. In fact, I haven't been back up there in years except layovers. I ordered my 97 heritage softtail classic new in europe and picked it up at the Hampton beach harley dealer to avoid sales taxes, but that was really the last time I was really up there.

Like any good carpetbagger, I came south and never left.

My brothers both went to UNH. My younger QBed at UNH. For HS, I went to NHS, my older brother went to Governor Dummer and my younger went to Phillips Exeter.

I remember when that hockey rink was being built. Its not new anymore, probably 40 years old. I grew up across the street from the "Lord Timothy Dexter Mansion." There were still "poor" kids when I was in school there. Played a lot of hockey on the "mall". As airline pilots, I am pretty sure most of us couldn't even afford to buy a house (or condo) in Newburyport anymore. Times have changed.

Best sub I ever ate was ferlitas in Nbpt. Probably not even there anymore. Mr K's was an ice cream place that would sell us kids "mistakes" for $.10 . As kids we'd head out on our bikes in the a.m., go all over the place and come back at dinnertime. Nobody thought that was child abuse back then. Good place to grow up.
