Just talked to a buddy of mine at the school house. Class started today six new hires, there was supposed to be ten but four didn't show. All six going to the Saab not sure what base. It sounds like they are having a hard time filling classes. SHOCKER!
I would imagine all the doom and gloom talk has scared away applicants. With everyone else raising mins in anticipation of the ATP rule, I would imagine other carriers are close to the 1000/100 min for Colgan. So again, I would just think the troyble is in the company's current perceived (or real) instability.
Could anyone confirm they are trying to run 10/class?
