I have spent the last three weeks in the Barbara Bush Childrens Hospital. Probably 3 more to boot. Here are some of my lessons learned: At the onset call in sick. Do not PD. The last thing you need to worry about is your pay check.
You get what you pay for when it comes to Health Insurance. I use to have TRICARE, but living in a less populated region a lot of facilities/specialists DO NOT accept cheap government insurance. UHC has never said no to any of the treatment options offered to us. I have seen the welfare kids unfortunately (same contract as TRICARE) whisked out of here prematurely in my opinion. This $85k plus hospital visit will cost us 2k out of pocket plus premiums. IMO a small price to pay.
