Let's face it, if they get a salary cap put in place, they just solved the longevity issue. AMR likes to have control and they don't want to give it up to some non-owned regional if they don't have to. Eagle is in bK too. Costs will be cut all over the place and put us in a much more competitive position then we already are. Those new planes will be coming here, it's just a matter of how much they can beat us down with concessions and threats of furloughs first.

Just ask your union rep. They can't come out and say it yet because of all the NDA's but they'll tell you if you ask the right questions. Also the APA scope relief will have to get worked out beforehand as well. Don't shoot the messenger, I'm just passing along what I've heard so lighten up. I'm quite happy with the equipment I'm flying right now and I prefer spreading he good news over the bad. Some of you people are just miserable...
