HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You parked the majority of your domestic fleet (which also gave you a great ratio of active pilots to widebody too -which argument do you want to make to the arbitrator btw?) to facilitate "the" merger.

I know you all will keep telling each other that on the various forums until it becomes true. But it just doesnt work that way. Maybe the merger with LCC or something. But...... you know, nevermind. Run with that argument. Im sure the best thing you can do for your 1400 plus on furlough is to have pipe dreams.

I feel very sorry for your furloughs and the furloughs we had. I feel happy that many of your furloughs are back to making at least their parting wages while flying in the same seat and domicile as our recently returned furloughs that I had to fill out probationary report forms for three years after their return.

Im sorry for the losses on your side. But this is getting sick and old. It is on every little UAL forum about how mistreated you are in reference to LCAL. You lost nothing in profit sharing because we got it. So get over it. We got an extension, because the extension from the TPA expired. Profit sharing wasnt new.

We were hiring into the right seat widebody and have those guys on property for years that were never furloughed. We have captains from 98 that have been so now for over 4 years and did not lose their seats. Nearly all of us in our 20s and 30s were expected to retire into widebody positions. So enough with this almighty brain surgeon stuff. You were furloughed or lost your seat because at the time, your company sucked pure and simple. Just liked Cal sucked a decade earlier. It happens. You missed the cycle. We didnt. You had one good quarter before the merger but that was after a decade of front page USA today print showing UAL loses another billion this quarter.

Im sorry for your furloughs. It sucks. It sucked for ours too. You have scabs. We have scabs. You have some good airplanes and some shatty ones. Some good sims and some shatty ones. So do we. Now get a grip on reality and hope that it plays out well for you. But quit spreading pure crap that gives people false hope. The career expectation of someone on the street is zero. Your company's past mismanagement is not our problem. I just enjoy the memories of nearly every UAL guy that was on my jumpseat asking "when are we going to merge, we need it". Our response was always "I hope never".
Ohhhhhh you gonna be lots of fun to fly with......

Question genius, how many routes did CAL/UAL overlap on??? You dont think that was by design?
