I interviewed and was offered a job teaching Cessna Conquest at one of the Wichita centers last year. I decided not to go in the end, not enough money, but the interview was as described above. I chose to do the hydraulic system on a Piper Comanche twin, and made a powerpoint presentation to do my lecture. They are really serious about the 15 minute limit (20?) so you have to cram a lot in if you want to cover everything. Make the slide show and give it to your aunts and uncles a few times before going, make sure it is 15 minutes and you have your rap together. A well made slide show practically leads itself, while a bad one leaves a lot of work for the speaker to do and can even confuse you if the bullets are really lame. After the lecture you get Q&A with about 15 instructor and they do as fairly hard questions so know what you are lecturing about. They did ask technical questions and after they were satisfied I knew about all there was to know about it they asked some HR type questions, nothing fancy but be able to answer what you are going to do when you have the General of Panama getting a type in your sim, flies like crap despite having a thousand hours of right seat in the real airplane but you have none, he is a total piece of work determined to intimidate you into giving him a signoff anyway and also wants to see you cry to your boss about what an intimidating, incompetent customer he is. Remember, the customer is always right. It was hard question and one I know the sim operators encounter from time time.
