Seriously, this is a public website. You guys are running a high risk of doing yourselves a disservice.
I fly the new UAL a lot (and the former CAL and former UAL). I'm having a difficult time establishing an adult connection between who and what I see entering the flight deck and what I'm observing on this forum.
I'm embarrassed you had to see it.
Much has changed in the industry of the last 30+ years...expanded markets, new equipment technology and comm tools to name just a few.
Unfortunately, with the expanding industry came a corresponding reduction in qualifications including personal maturity. As pilots, sometimes I think we're very lucky that the improved technology has a tendency to offset some of the maturity, discipline issues.
I can assure you that the vast majority of my peers are solid, mature, disciplined professionals. What you see here is not commonplace.
Although my peers can speak for themselves, I certainly appreciate your business at the new UAL. Thanks for buying and I hope you keep coming back.
