It also means once you've released your pent up energy, you won't persue REAL change.

As long as they keep the animals restless in their little cage, when the door is left open, they're too tired to go anywhere.

I don't doubt the professionalism of those at DALPA who would help you if you were in trouble, but complaining about DALPA on the DALPA forum doesn't seem wise given your name is on it. Doesn't seem wiser than complaining about something management related here and posting your name under it.

You can speak freely here and I think that's why pilots post here- among other reasons. Anonymity is a good thing, if it wasn't, those on FPL would post their names under each post here.

And people here do complain to their reps, i've gotten plenty of REP correspondence via pm to read. I have a few myself especially back during the RAH ruling where I'd outline why I think we should pursue STS with RAH and have them removed from flying and there was never an insult directed towards ALPA but I got some very snarky one sentence responses. It made me question whether anyone is going to listen or not.

Same as now, if you write about the reserve bucket system having thresholds that are too high you get a go away response with some canned thanks for writing and let me know if you have any questions. A smarter response would be, "thanks for your insight and we'll take it into consideration. This is our first month trying it and we intend to make some corrections here and there going forward." Even if none of that was true it would at least make you feel as if contacting your reps and committee folks was worthwhile but hitting a brick wall immediately.

Sol, that's why we're here and it's probably the very reason guys are calling crew resources but may not be complaining on the alpa forums.
