Thanks for your useless contribution.

First, have it fall under a reasonable expectation catalog. Arbitrator Dana Eischen, in the Frontier/Republic/Lynx/Midwest merger, protected the queen of the fleet, the Airbus by a 7-year fence. Arbitrator Eischen clearly was smart enough to see that everyone and their mother would want to bid over to the Airbus. To protect both the Frontier pilots' large fleet type, and also realizing it represented the highest pay for the airline pilot group, the arbitrator put in place a 7 year fence. This fence is reasonable and expected. Sure, the arbitrator could have said screw this, and not have any fences, but there was one. It's a binding arbitration award.

Second, what lack of respect? Where have I disrespected you? In fact, not a single post of mine has ever had language, cuss words, or ever been edited for TOS violations by a moderator in regards to Pinnacle/Mesaba/Colgan threads. Meanwhile, others here have had their posts edited because they start cussing and violating TOS. Just see for yourself. I actually have the ability to write out well thought out paragraphs, even if you disagree with it.

As for my position on the SLI, it is what it is, and there is no point in talking to any boys. They can't do anything about it. However, I will still speak up for what's in the best interest of the 9E pilots. You may say you're Pinnacle and that we're all Pinnacle, but that's not true. Management made it clear that the Colgan certificate would continue for prop operations. Now if the Saab and/or Q fleet is parked, of course I'll speak up for the best interest of the 9E group: out of seniority order furloughs. The 9E pilots already took a brunt of the force from the Mesaba Saab displacements, the last thing we need is another displacement and downgrades for 9E pilots to accomodate Colgan's downfall.

Before you flip out and attack me, realize that I've posted what I think is a well-written, thought out post. Please try and do the same, instead of attacking and violating TOS (you know who you are).
You should have your union card pulled. No member in good standing should ever advocate out of seniority furlough. The idea is preposterous, and obviously 100% selfish on your part. You and I didn't have a thing to do with the SLI, and I am just as upset about the results as you are. There are guys years junior to me that are now captains and hundreds of numbers senior to me. The fact is Shy, whatever you and I think was fair doesn't matter, the ISL IS THE NEW SENIORITY LIST, and it will be honored. If Corp does go under, and decides to eliminate the 9L side, anything could happen. There could be out of seniority furloughs. The fact that you WANT that to happen is appalling.

To be sure I understand your point...You are against a 7% pay cut because the problems that the company is in isn't your fault, and that if they can't afford us, well then its time to shut the place down.

Now you advocate out of seniority furloughs because "all those training events would be a financial disaster for the company". So which is it Shy, its not ok to take a pay cut, but its ok to furlough 600 guys? You're a blatant, selfish, hypocrite Shy.

In your honest opinion, would you feel the same way if Delta parked all of 9E 200 flying? Would you advocate out of seniority furloughs then?
