Let me fill you in on a little secret.... As a professional pilot, you should never advocate a staple job or out of seniority furloughs. Secondly, we as a pilot a group should do whatever we can to keep our brothers and sisters off the street and avoid a furlough. I wouldn't expect someone of your moral compass to comprehend this, being that you applied to GoJets and rescinded your resume due to that fact there was a gmail address involved. Never mind the fact GoJets whipsaw'd TSA pilots....
As for a useless contribution to this tread.... Well, I am simply matching all your bi****ing and moaning over your precious upgrade and how life is so unfair if it doesn't benefit you Shy.... Carry on Delta Bravo...
I've never proposed a staple job for any group. I may have jokingly referred to a staple as in Office Space's red stapler for Mesaba or made j/k staple references when the 9E FAs got 3-to-1 against Mesaba FAs. But I have never proposed an outright staple of a pilot group! The only statement I agree with you is "as a professional pilot you should never advocate a staple job." Please tell that to the 3 people on the 9E merger team.
And give me a break regarding GoJets. Yes, I filled out the application but then didn't send it when it asked to send to a gmail address. Whipsaw? What about the Colgan and Pinnacle whipsaw of 2007 and 2008? Remember when Colgan got tons of shiny Q400s, while Pinnacle stagnated, the CEO told us our ALPA proposal for a contract would bankrupt the company, and then we downgraded our pilots? Later, a displacement followed too in 2008. All this happened while Colgan expanded tremendously. Yeah, but I guess the current GoJets and TSA situation is a crime, ain't it? You should question the TSA MEC Chairman and ask Dario under what leverage did he tell Hulas to go pound dirt when it came to the -700 rates/benefits?
