IIRC, the big draw to the original People's Express was no frills and cheap airfares. Ummmm , I think every airline is "doing" that now, except the frills (food, drink, pillows, blankets, headsets, baggage, carry on nightmares) are now fees.

Come to think of it, if they provided the service the Legacies provided before all the crap above, with honest pricing, and without 3+ hour legs on an RJ, they just might make it.
