I commute on F9 frequently too. Great bunch of people. Like some other RAH posters here, I've only wished you and the former Midwesters the best. (Nasty Rat not included as my goodwill only goes so far) As far as the lanyard goes, really, who cares? I've written before that I think it's silly to wear one when deadheading or commuting on Frontier because of the unfairness of the IMSL arbitration. Yes, as a native RAH person I believe the Frontier FOs were hosed. There's no way I should be above them on a combined aviation seniority list. Regionals have less value than Majors. But that's my opinion and just an opinion and therefore inconsequential. To my bros: why rub salt in a wound? Be a decent person and take the silly lanyard off when riding Frontier. I don't condone Frontier peeps getting wrapped around the axle over a lanyard but I certainly understand where their emotion is coming from. As should any intelligent person with a little bit of empathy for their fellow man. But in the end, it's an accessory. Is this still Junior High? I learned a long time ago to see past accessories while discovering the true nature of a person.
I post less and less all the time and this will probably be my last. I'll still lurk from time to time to get gouge on places I want to move on to but most of these threads turn toxic and useless pretty quickly. Good luck to all of you at Frontier, all the former Midwest folks, and to all my peers at RAH. As always, everyone is welcome on board my flights and if I know you're back there I'll ensure that if there's an open seat in first you'll be in it.
