If that is true then the costs to park the planes may well be as much or more than the cost to fly them at a loss. Chapter 11 may be a short pitstop on the way to chapter 7 and the unemployment line.
Sometimes putting the beast down is the most humane. Not that I want to see it happen, but shutting down the company would make my (and I presume many other folk's) decision a great deal clearer.
