Yeah... Anderson can have his multi-million dollar bonus. But as much as he wants his bonus, I want out of my bankruptcy contract. Re-instate my pay + inflation first, if we have so much of money to throw around for management bonuses.
It's not just Mr. Anderson who runs this company. If we make a mistake and lose an airplane, it can easily wipe out around half a decade of gains for an airline. We have more at stake everyday in the cockpit than what Anderson has on his desk.
Don't get me wrong, I want a great contract too. We are due for one. It just does no good to get into all that angst about Mr Anderson and the executives. There is absolutely NOTHING you or I or DALPA can do about it. And besides, the amount of money that they get in bonuses is nothing compared to the other 70,000 employees.
