I think he may be having a laugh at the use of capitalization in the rejection letter. Here is a sample sentence: "Southwest is fortunate to receive interest from many qualified Candidates for the limited number of open Pilot positions at a given time." Not sure why "Candidates" and "Pilot" are capitalized in SWA usage.

For what it's worth to gauge my rejection:

- 3500 Turbine PIC
- 6000+ Total
- 737 Type
- Military Flight Examiner (100 hours)
and the detractors:
- flying only single-engine piston past 4 years
- one busted military checkride
- no glass cockpit (just HUD)
