We are currently at 709 mainline jets. We need to go to 767(merger number of total jets) before they can add the 154 76 seat jet. Because management knows that will not happen, they have basically added a ton of 70 seat jets to the point that we are within 7 70/76 seat jets for the total 255 cap. If we get the 767th jet back on property, the total number does not go above 255, only the number of 76 seat jets is raised. It is three for one, so if we got jet 767, they would go from 153 allowed to 156.
Yes, and to reiterate:
255 is a HARD CAP. No more jets in the 51-76 seat category.
the "3 for 1" is merely to allow a "71-76" seat jet within the 255.
IF DAL gets to 767th mainline active airframe(not orders or options), they "can" pull out 3 70 seat jets and replace them with 3 71-76 seat jets.
there is no metric that can grow large rj's over 255 for any reason whatsoever.
If we do not see at TA that continues to reduce limits on small jet outsourcing AND forces all current and future large jet "JV/codeshare agreements" into production balances, there will be a NO vote from this guy.
"Permitted aircraft types" needs to disappear altogether from Section 1 over the next few cycles.... The only persons "permitted" to fly Delta (and Skyteam in the US) painted/coded/operated flights should be pilots on the Delta Air Lines Pilot Master Seniority List.
Unity is leverage.
