I've had good luck with the StrongBag, myself. The Costco option is also good. I'm overseas, where there are no Costcos. A defacto standard, at least over here, is a bag that fits in the overhead lengthwise. A 22" bag won't do this on all mainline aircraft. StrongBags sells a 19" version. Those Eagle Creeks look intriguing, but they likely won't fit under a Boeing jumpseat. Samsonite has some nice 19" bags that are popular over here; they've put out some real junk in recent years, but their stuff seems to be holding up better lately.

I'd go with the Costco - or some other cheap option - until you get hired and see what everybody else has.
