The point of this post is not to ask for sympathy, it's to shine a light on the cockroach that the airline profession really is. And you already know this, but it's important for anyone else reading this to understand that I'm not an anomaly. Over two thousand other UAL pilots have very similar W2's. That's approximately 30% of the pilot group. And this is the top of the profession, the proverbial brass ring.
