What is it tht you want back? Our parents to have our hire date as oppose to date of travel? Lets look at the old NWA way. Not much has change. We always travled behind NWA retire

NWA Retire = 5R
Pinnacle = 5W (NWA flights)
Our Parents 6P

However I had to pay for EACH TRIP (pre 2007) if I want to Non-Rev plus addtional if I wanted to list for first class. Mainline NWA always travel as 5 just like us on Pinnacle flights, so it comes down to date of hire (That stayed the same). S3 and S3 (on Pinnacle flights). Buddy pass, if you call it that, were we had to travel with our buddy, and the fares is sometimes more than a fares if you bought it onlines The way I see it is this is a step up from what we use to have. The only change I see from what we had before on the Delta side is our parents change to date of travel, however we get 6 international travel days instead of 3. Becareful about how you want what you had in the past. Remember this:

Parent Travel
Parents may now travel unlimited on domestic and international flights at the yield fare rate.
Flight listings for parents can be created through TravelNet. The yield fare averages from $0.02
to $0.04 per mile plus applicable taxes.

At one point our parents couldn't even travel on Delta, until this was changed in 2010. I didn't hear you complain about this was "change" and you want what you had in the past back.
