Sounds like you voted for no changes going forward.
I voted for Hummel because I think he will take the Silver decision and do the right thing. That may be appeal, and although I don't want that, we need a definitive answer. Remember, you guys were the ones that thought you had to start the legal battle. We may get an answer from Silver that makes the company do what it should have done years ago and makes an appeal moot.
I did not vote for Bradford. He is a big part of what is wrong with this union along with others like Cleary, Mowery and their chief cheerleader McKee.
I'm not voting for Ferguson or Koontz, but it has nothing to do with DOH. It has to do with the attitude that the Nic is it, it is not a problem and we are going to fight any and all attempts to mitigate it. I understand the sentiment, but they are failing to accept reality. That is that without accepting that it IS a problem we will go nowhere. They may win, they may prevent any mitigation, but if they do we will never have an industry average contract much less an industry leading. They are typical politicians, promise the world, with few details on how to get there. Just trust us. The big difference is they promise the world while insulting the people they are asking for votes from. Again, east pilots are idiots if they vote for these guys. They absolutely cannot deliver what they are promising if they stick to what they say they will do.
I will say this though. If they win I won't behave towards them like you guys do the east.
I think the Ferguson slate has a chance of winning. Cleary has screwed the union up so bad that so many are sick of it. The ones that want a contract my buy the Ferguson crap. The 3 east guys are going to split the vote and probably lead to a run off. If McKee wins I don't think he can beat Ferguson.
We'll see.
