The CAL MEC Chairman Jay Pierce DID NOT run for ALPA president when Capt. Moak was running. The former ALPA President John Prater, a Continental pilot, did run for a second term which Capt Moak won instead.
The current CAL MEC Chairman did run for the first vice president's position, however. Just some factual clarifications.
