Would you be mad if your whole family got split up and your kids or spouse didn't get on, however you did since you are S3C however there's a lot of Compass, Skywest, ASA Go Jets bump the rest of your family, since you say they not generating revenue. I know it sucks that we get bumped when some retirees who wants to go on a mini vacation while you're trying to get home or work. Where should our spouse or kids stand since they are not generating revenue for Delta. Should they go below us active employees or keep it the same. If we keep it the same as us, shouldn't Delta's spouse or kids be the same as the active employees too?
In almost all of your examples the family members are going to be the last people to get on the plane no matter what. I'm not sure what your point is? Why would anyone be mad if their family traveling for fun didn't get on because of a pilot commuting to/from work? The point is simple, why would Delta risk revenue from a cancelled flight because a pilot can't get to work which resulted from non-revs trying to get to ATL to catch their flight to Cancun?
