As stated a few pages ago, a competitive management team would threaten retaliation. Of course it would be hard for Delta's management team to act all offended when they themselves have built Delta's network to outsource as much of their product as is allowed under our contract.

Just read the C44 article on "Unity." The article that was submitted to Admin was a different than what was re-written and published. What was published was a fine article, but the real point was stripped from its content. Perhaps it was seen as inflammatory. Do not know why they did not put the real writers' names on the publication.

So, humbly submitted for your review is another take on "Unity." I do not disagree with anything my MEC Admin wrote, but it appears as though they were holding back.

Unity is defined as a "State of Oneness, a state of not being multiple." Unity is defined structurally, as in Delta pilots perform all Delta flying, represented by one union. Unity is a single entity which holds this Company's entire productive capacity under its control. Unity was defined by our Union's Founder:

Consider an exchange Albert Einstein famously had with someone who insisted that partisan allegiance was what defined patriotism. Dr. Einstein replied:

Without that understanding of unity, I fear we are left with a form of partisan allegiance where loyalty is a substitute for the structural benefit of collective bargaining. The unfortunate truth is that politicians and political structures change. Working collectively hasn't changed since humans learned to hunt in packs. If we want to hunt Mammoths, we have to work collectively.

Hey... if I can't convince my MEC, perhaps I can convince you and you can convince them.
